This is exactly why I wanted to create kits for a warm-weather Christmas! I'm not going to give any other details other that what I am writing here or what I said in my Facebook/IG Lives a few days ago. As a reminder, there is a QR code on the kit previews for the Pocket Frame kits. I am talking about company Media Kits. | Many of you may remember that I used to teach a series of online classes at Scrapaneers.com called Art of the Apps. I really hope you enjoy working with these Pocket Frames! Actually, it's been quite some time since I wrote a blog post. I just like to share! I want to connect more with all of my Pixels to Pages friends and have you get to better know the person behind the logo. The one thing that is different is the title for the journaling section on the 6x12 Calendar Cards is "Month in Review" instead of "Chapter Highlights.". I made the "just run" filler card directly in the layout by placing one of the colored papers from the Chapters: February Kit in the 3x5 pocket and used Free Form Text to add the word art. The filler card in the bottom left was done directly in the Project Life Template (Design A). The journal card you see on this page is one I created in the Project Life App. | Read her journaling about these photos! Feel free to use the cards in other apps, too! The second double-page spread uses the 4x3 journal card from the Chapters January Kit. The journal cards were created in the Project Life App, but check out what I did with one of the 4x4 QR code cards that are included in the March Chapters Kit: I recorded bits and pieces of several songs Richard Scott played and combined them into about a 4-minute long video using iMovie on my iPad. | Each kit will feature a 3x4 zodiac card. All three journal cards were created in the Project Life App using the textured "paper" from the March Chapters Kit. For the image in the 6x8 placeholder, I ended up manipulating one of the files from the 6x8 Pocket Frame No.3 Kit to make it work a little better for me here. It is still hot here in Florida and the photos these scrappers used in their layouts helped to keep me cool! I am having so much fun with video this year! The video demos the 4x6 Pocket Frame Kits, but you will use 3x4 in the same manner. In 2020 I documented in a monthly format. I've never seen a Christmas kit geared towards an Australian Christmas. Photos and stories from May are documented in three spreads with a title page and an end page for my "film adaptation" video QR code. The two journal cards you see with the purple border are ones I created directly in the Project Life app! 1 Kit. And friends, if you do not use Affinity Photo, the PSD files that are in the kit can be used in Photoshop or any other software that will recognize PSD files. This is placed in the Big Shot A Template from the Project Life app and I will ALWAYS use this template on the left hand side of the first spread for each month. If you are going to add the dates and want to be all matchy-matchy, I would suggest the font Barlow Condensed if you have access to it! A lot of thought has gone into this kit and each part of it deserves some explaining. When a book is turned into a film, it is called a "film adaptation." It's about time there was a kit for those who prefer to make a sandman instead of a snowman! When I realized I was already up to 6 spreads for the month and still had 2 or more 3 to go, I figured I would share my June pages in two separate posts. 2 Kit. So here goes: Each month will feature a new color palette, texture, and realistic pattern! Scan the code with the phone on your mobile device and you can view the short movie created with the One Second Everyday App! She has a ton of kits not related to the Project 12/52 Collection that you may be interested in! There may be a few other surprise kits added as well! From simple home decor, to building a custom cabinet in our family room, I've got this need to create like you wouldn't believe. The Kentucky Derby graphic is part of the invitation I created for our party. Or, if you are a digital scrapper (creating pages on your desktop or laptop), these cards can be used in Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and Affinity Photo. I originally had thought I was going use the bokeh pattern paper in the placeholders on either side of the card, but I changed my mind. Consider that as a reminder for you to go and enjoy a meal outside!!! I may have missed one or two days in April, but I'm not going to stress about it! Use the camera on your phone to scan the code to watch the video while you are following along with Affinity Photo on your iPad!
