Studio Science w/ Four Tet
Since my early days tinkering with electronic and R&B music, I’ve been very interested in the Live PA. Borg-like systems where one can perform along with machines, exploring deep loops, improvisation, chaos… I think I’d like to explore this idea a little bit further, and this Resident Advisor post is a nice departure point, from the land of wax and plastic, into a new ether wherein machine and mind intuit together.
Lets explore some techno-systems built for live stage performance by artisans we are familiar with. We will begin with Four Tet.

Personally, I’d really like to continue.
Some of my friends are: Boba Flux (Paul Birken), Centrific, The Artbreaker, Al Haca Sound System (I.e.), Fleshdiver, Man or Cat?, Cache, and others.
