UNDONE presents: Future Bass PDX Event Tonight

Looking for a way to spend your Thursday evening and Last Thursdays in Alberta is too warm? Maybe you’d just like to grab a quick dance before the weekend hits.

Well, I’m going to be playing another 2-step set for UNDONE tonight at Element Lounge. If you haven’t been there, the space is nice, dark and intimate — not pretentious at all. You can enjoy some great $5 appetizers and a very nice shelf of spirits and feel like you’re in a dream under the reflected deep blue and violet LED lighting. There is no cover, and the night ends early at midnight.

Coming July 20th to B.C.’s Bar & Grill (facebook event)

What do you remember about the famed Minneapolis artist formerly known as Prince? Do you know his songs Kiss, Little Red Corvette… Sexy M.F.? Have you heard of Paisley Park?

DJ Deuce and I are happy to announce that — nope, sorry — Prince is not coming to play our show. BUT, a badass audio engineer that worked on Cream, Chaos and Disorder, Gold Experience, Space, The Most Beautiful Girl in The World, Come, Greatest Hits 1 & 2, The Love Symbol, Diamonds and Pearls, Thieves, Elephants and Flowers, Graffiti Bridge, Scandalous, and a lot of New Power Generation albums will be with us to play some out of this world house and garage music on Friday night.

Tuesday night at Bar XV (facebook event)

Joyride has been invited to join the Diode Industries team on Tuesday night at Portland’s BAR XV. What happens at Bar XV? Signs point to funky, bangin’ house according to McCabe Reed. Joyride will also be performing with Nick Dubbz, Sosa, and Borce. This event is produced with big help from WhatsHappeningPDX.com

Joyride continues in DJ Contest (facebook event)

Logo PrimitiveEarly last week I posted my entry for this contest. Listen back if you’d like to hear it again. The announcement from the Primitive Science team that I made the Semi-Finals was met with good feelings of validation. The truth is, you don’t have to smash out a mix of club hits to be recognized for original mixing skills. Congratulations to the other Semi-Finalists. Unfortunately, I’ve got to put you out now. I’m kidding… or am I?
